DIY Christmas Cards !

Dec 3, 2014

Hey girls !

Yes, I know it's not the weekends and yet there is a post from me. I'm going to be posting a blog not only in the weekends but on wednesday also, in the month of December. Call this my version of blogmas ;-) Hope you like it !

I've been thinking about making my own Christmas cards for a long time now. There is just something about giving the people you love a selfmade card. I always appreciated it when it was selfmade card, it's shows that you care about that person. This is a great way to share your love and joy during this time of year. So get ready for these adorable cards for the upcoming holidays.

Things you will need:  heavy paper - scrapbook paper or wrapping paper - a glue stick - cutter - cutting mat - pencil

Design 1: Presents
Fold your paper (20 cm x 17 cm) in two.

Cut another paper which is about (18 cm x 15 cm). The smallest paper is where you are going to work on.

Draw a light vertical line right in the middel so you can see that the horizontal lines are even on both sides..
Draw different length of horizontal lines depending on how big you want your presents to be.

Now push and fold the figures out.

Glue the wrapping paper on the presents. Then glue the biggest white paper underneath.

Design 2: Christmas tree
Fold your paper (20 cm x 17 cm) in two.

Cut another paper which is about (18 cm x 15 cm). The smallest paper is where you are going to work on.

Draw a light vertical line right in the middel so you can see that the horizontal lines are even on both sides..
Draw 2 horizontal lines depending on how big you want your christmas tree to be.

Now push and fold the figures out.

Glue the paper on the christmas tree. Then glue the biggest white paper underneath.

You can always jazz it up more but I like the minimalistic look. It makes it look clean and crisp.
And voila you are finished, hope you like it !
